Happy Friday, everyone! I'm in Boston this weekend for a friend's wedding shower/bachelorette party, so I couldn't write a big post, but I still wanted to drop in and say hi.
In keeping with this week's detox theme, I thought I would share with you guys a great little detox bath recipe. I know it's the dead of summer and a bath might not be exactly what you're in the mood for, but trust me on this one. Summer baths can work wonders since the extra heat causes you to sweat more, thus getting rid of more toxins. And at the very least it will help you to unwind and relax a bit after a day at the office.
1 c epsom salt
1 c baking soda
1/4 c ground ginger
Fill your bath with hot water. Once bathtub fills halfway, pour all ingredients into tub and stir with your hand to dissolve. Fill the tub the rest of the way and then hop in. Soak for at least 20 minutes, 40 minutes max.
Do this bath twice a week.
